Client: Teradata - Dec 2023
Role: UX Researcher
Analysing interview research, supporting creation of personas, presenting findings to the client.
Overview:
Teradata’s digital ecosystem brought together a range of content, support, and community resources, creating challenges in how users discovered and navigated information across different parts of the experience.
I focused on analysing and synthesising user research to understand how people engaged across the ecosystem and where breakdowns were occurring. The goal was to translate complex qualitative insights into clear, actionable recommendations that could inform a more connected and intuitive experience.

Methods
User Types
We focused on three core personas:
Leaders (Strategic Decision‑Makers): Directors, heads of data, senior stakeholders.
Builders (Developers & Data Engineers): Hands‑on users building pipelines, queries, and data products.
Admins (Platform & System Administrators): Responsible for governance, performance, and system health.
Research Analysis
I analysed qualitative research data to identify behavioural patterns, user needs, and recurring pain points across multiple digital touchpoints.
I synthesised findings into clear themes to highlight opportunities for improving navigation, discoverability, and cross-platform consistency.
I mapped key user insights across content, support, and community experiences to understand points of friction and drop-off.
I collaborated with stakeholders to align findings with product and platform strategy, supporting decisions around future experience direction.
